FAQ
Q1: What is a Bag-in-Box Fresh Wort Kit?
A Bag-in-Box (BIB) fresh wort kit contains pre-boiled, ready-to-ferment wort in a vacuum-sealed box. It lets you skip the brew day and go straight to fermentation — just pour, pitch yeast, and you’re brewing.
Q2: Do I need to boil the wort before fermenting?
No, the wort is already professionally brewed and sterilised. Just sanitise your fermenter, pour the wort in, top up if needed, pitch your yeast, and ferment.
Q3: What kind of beer does this IPA kit make?
It produces a bold, golden-Pale Ale with firm bitterness, citrusy hop aroma, and a solid malt backbone. Perfect for hop lovers.
Q4: Can I add dry hops to customise the flavour?
Yes — this kit is ideal for dry hopping. Add 25- 50g of hops on Day 4 of fermentation
Q5: What equipment do I need to brew this kit?
You’ll need a fermenter, airlock, sanitiser, yeast, and bottles or kegs. No boiler or chilling equipment required.
Q6: How long until I can drink the beer?
Fermentation takes 7–10 days, followed by 2 weeks of bottle/keg conditioning. You can drink it in about 3–4 weeks total.
Q7: How much beer does it make?
One kit makes 23 litres (approximately 64 bottles or 1 full 19L keg + extra).
