Handcraft Supplies Heat Belt can be used to maintain your fermentation temperature by adding a gentle heat to the outside of your fermentation vessel. Avoid cool fermentation temperatures, which reduce your yeast's performance and increase the fermentation time. Simply tighten the belt around your fermenter and adjust the heat belt's position to adjust the temperature. Lowering the belt will increase the temperature, and raisingit will decrease the temperature.
